This Privacy Policy explains how Laura Burkey Coaching (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit laura.localcraftdigital.com or contact us through it. We keep the data we collect to what we need to answer an inquiry, provide a requested resource, and improve the site. We do not sell personal information.

Who runs this website

This website is designed and maintained for Laura Burkey Coaching by LocalCraft Digital, which provides the site’s lead-capture and first-party visitor analytics systems. LocalCraft Digital processes this information on our behalf as a service provider and does not use it for third-party advertising.

Information you choose to give us

Our inquiry forms collect the information you enter. Depending on the path you choose, that can include your name, email address, organization, role, timing, location, broad context, and message. We use those details to review and respond to your request.

After completing the Word Lab, you may optionally provide a name and email address to request the SAY BOTH. practice. That form records the name, email address, form identity, and consent choices. It does not include the sentence you entered, the word you tested, either version of your sentence, your observations, or your Word Field Note.

The private Word Lab

The One-Word Check runs in your browser. Your sentence, selected word, alternate construction, observations, and Word Field Note stay on your device. The tool does not send that material to analytics, an artificial-intelligence service, or Laura Burkey Coaching. Refreshing or resetting the page clears the entry.

Information collected automatically

The site uses a first-party analytics pixel served from localcraftdigital.com. It records pages visited; buttons, links, phone taps, and email taps selected; form submissions; referrer and page address; browser and device information from the user-agent; approximate country and city derived from an IP address; and a random session identifier used to understand a single visit.

This analytics does not follow visitors across other websites, build an advertising profile, or provide sentence-level Word Lab content to Laura Burkey Coaching.

Browser storage

The site may use a small amount of browser storage for a session identifier and review preferences. Most browsers let you clear or block this storage. The core public pages still work if you do.

How we use information

• to respond to inquiries and consider requested speaking or Empow-WORD™ work;
• to provide a requested guide or practice sequence when that delivery is available;
• to understand site usage and improve content, layout, and offers;
• to detect and prevent spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions;
• to meet legal obligations.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with LocalCraft Digital and the providers needed to operate the website and respond to requests: Vercel for hosting and content delivery, Supabase for lead and first-party analytics records, and Resend for owner alerts or requested email delivery when those features are enabled. It may also be shared with professional advisers when necessary or with authorities when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety.

The Media page uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed. Loading or playing an embedded video can still send device, browser, and interaction information to Google or YouTube under their privacy practices. The site also links to Substack, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube; visiting those services is subject to their own privacy practices.

Retention and protection

Inquiry and lead records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain ordinary business records, and meet legal obligations. Analytics is retained for a limited period needed to measure site performance. The site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and access to stored records is limited. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or opt out of follow-up contact. Use the contact form and state that your request concerns privacy. Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legal privacy right.

Children’s privacy

The site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, the date at the top of this page will change.
